Roman-Bienville Homes

Roman-Bienville Homes is an affordable housing project in the Mid-City area of New Orleans, developed by Neville Development.

The project consists of 11 buildings (existing and new construction) that house 31 units of affordable housing. Five of the eleven buildings are historic rehabilitations totaling 7,321 square feet. For the design of the other 6 buildings, much importance was given to the existing landscape of the neighborhood. CIS Architects was able to successfully integrate the aesthetics of the new construction with the existing streetscape of the area. This project was completed in 2014.
