When hiring an architect, is personal style important?
“I don’t think it’s an important issue with an architect whether his style conforms to the style that the client has in their mind. What I think is most important is that the architect can understand what the client is asking, the communication between client and architect is open and therefore I can deliver a project that is far beyond the owners’ ideas or wishes or conception.”
What type of team size is most beneficial for the design process?
“Our firm has 6 architects and 2 interior designers. We’re considered a small firm in the world of architecture, however I think on a residential size and even small commercial buildings an owner should be looking for that small group of people. I think there’s a closer communication with the owner of the firm and the staff and you get a quicker turn around and a quicker response from our team.
