Building Trades Homes

Building Trades Homes consists of affordable housing for the Gentilly neighborhood in New Orleans in partnership with First NBC Bank.

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

Phase One of this project consisted of 9 single family residences, each at 1,350 square feet. The prototypes for the 9 residences reflect the architectural styles found in the surrounding neighborhood. Prototype 1 represents a classic New Orleans cottage, while Prototype 2 represents a craftsman cottage. Phase Two will use a mixture of the two different styles with 11 more single family residences being constructed within the same project boundaries.
